Namely the accident at the heart of JAWS - the fact that nothing worked on the "Bruce" puppet, which forced many of the scenes to be retooled. Hiding the shark made for a much more nuanced and suspenceful movie. An accidental movie - not the one Spielberg envisioned or planned.
